Below are the stadium’s names and details where the IPL matches will take place.

1. Wankhede Stadium: With a capacity of 33, 108 seats, the Wankhede Stadium will host the opening and closing ceremonies of IPL 2021. The first match of the 14th season will be held here at the heart of Mumbai, India at 7:30 PM local time. Wankhede will host a total of 8 matches during the entire tournament.

2. Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium: The Arun Jaitley Stadium with a seating capacity of  41,820 will host six matches. One of them will be Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab on 11 April, the second match in the season.

3. Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium: The RGIC stadium with a capacity of 55,000 seats will also host 7 matches in Hyderabad. One of the famous clashes will be Sun Risers Hyderabad versus Royal Challengers Bangalore, as Hyderabad will be the home ground stadium for SRH.

4. Sawai Mansingh Stadium: Established in 1969, the Sawai Mansingh Stadium will host 7 matches with a capacity of 30,000 seats. Located in Rajasthan, the Rajasthan Royals team will have their first match of the series in their own home stadium against Chennai Super Kings on April 14.

5. Eden Gardens Stadium: Located in Kolkata, West Bengal, the Eden Gardens Stadium worth 80,000 seating capacity is currently closed due to the pandemic. However, it is expected to open on April 15 to host the Mumbai Indians vs KKR match during IPL 2021 season. The ground will witness 8 matches, including one qualifier tier.

6. Punjab Cricket Association Stadium: The PCA ground is now open and will host 7 matches, the first one being Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kings XI Punjab on April 16, 2021. The stadium has a capacity of 26,001 seats and had the latest international India vs South Africa match held on that very ground on 18 September 2019.

7. M.A. Chidambaram Stadium: Located in Chennai, with a seating capacity of 50,000 tickets, the MA Chidambaram Stadium will host seven matches in the 14th season of the Indian Premier League. The first match on the ground will take place on April 17 featuring Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings. The last ODI that took place on the stadium was India vs West Indies on 15 December 2019.

8. M. Chinnaswamy Stadium: Established in 1969 at Bangalore, Karnataka, India, the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium will also host 7 matches including one Eliminator whose date is yet to be determined.
